Gains Page: On the Gains page, reflect on your achievements, learnings, and personal growth up until this point. Celebrate both big accomplishments and small victories. Acknowledge the progress you have made, whether it’s completing a project, learning a new skill, or overcoming challenges. By recognizing your achievements, you boost satisfaction and encourage both a positive and growth mindset. Don’t be afraid to include meaningful learnings from experiences, even if they were perceived as setbacks. Embrace the lessons and growth that came from those moments.
 
Goals Page or Dream Board: On this page, let your imagination soar and envision the life of your dreams. Dare to dream big and imagine how you would love your life to look like. Don’t hold back on your goals; instead, think expansively and jot down what your dream life entails. How would your ideal day unfold? Where would you live? How would you spend your time? Let your thoughts flow freely and capture the essence of your aspirations on this page. Use this section to outline your big goals and dreams. Whether you focus on specific areas like career, health, relationships, or your overall life, the Vision Master’s Daily Journal allows you to tailor your goal setting to your unique aspirations.

Write down your goals for the next 12 month period

Now that you have reflected on your journey so far through the gratitude and gains pages, and set your sights on your big future life goals on the goals page, it’s time to shift your focus to the next 12 months ahead. 

The Vision Master’s Journal empowers you to take charge of your life by allowing you to choose which areas to prioritize. Take a moment to consider the different aspects of your life and select three meaningful goals to list on the year page.

Imagine your 12-month goal is to launch your own business. On the year page, you would write down “Launch my own business” as your overarching goal. Now, let’s break it down further:
Monthly Goal: In the monthly section, consider what specific tasks or milestones you need to accomplish to move closer to launching your business. For example, your monthly goal for the first month could be “Research and finalize business idea and target market.” This gives you a clear focus for the month.
Weekly Goal: Moving to the weekly section, think about what actions you can take within the week to make progress towards your monthly goal. For instance, your weekly goal could be “Conduct market research and competitor analysis” or “Create a business plan outline.” These smaller, achievable goals keep you on track and build momentum.
Daily Goal: Finally, in the daily section, determine the specific tasks or actions you need to complete each day to support your weekly goal. This could include activities like “Research industry trends,” “Reach out to potential mentors,” or “Draft a section of the business plan.” By breaking your goals down into daily tasks, you create a roadmap that guides your actions and ensures steady progress.

When setting your goals, consider using the SMART goal framework. 

 
Make them Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. For example, instead of simply stating “becoming healthy,” you can transform it into a SMART goal like “I will exercise for 30 minutes, five days a week, to improve my cardiovascular health by the end of three months.” This way, the likelihood of achieving those goals becomes higher, and you can track your progress effectively.
